Application Mode Form

The IntelliTrack Mobile application contains two operating modes:

• RF Mode: IntelliTrack Mobile operates in real-time. A transaction performed in RF Mode is immediately updated in the web application when it is saved. All user settings and access to information and transactions are based upon the logged-in user's role.
• Batch Mode: IntelliTrack Mobile operates in Batch Mode. A transaction performed in Batch Mode is updated in the web application after it is uploaded to the web application and processed into the database. All user settings and access to information and transactions are based upon the logged-in user's role. The logged-in user's role settings are downloaded to the batch application during a data download.

At the Application Mode form, you are able to switch between RF mode and Batch mode by selecting the desired option, tapping the Save button, and then restarting IntelliTrack Mobile.

1. To reach this form, select Tools > Mode from the menu bar.

2. The Application Mode form appears. In the form example shown, Batch Mode is selected.

1. Batch Mode: When running IntelliTrack Mobile Batch, collected data resides in the mobile application and is uploaded to the main web application for processing.
2. RF Mode: When running IntelliTrack Mobile RF, data is shared between the mobile application and the web application in real-time. No syncing is necessary for data sharing. It is automatic.
3. To select a mode, mark the radio option to the left of it and then select the Save button.

3. A message appears notifying you that you must restart the application for the change to take effect.

4. Select OK to close the message and return to the Main form.

5. Select User > Logout to log out of the application and close it.

1. You are returned to the main device form.

 

6. To restart the application, select Start > Programs > IntelliTrack Mobile from the main device form.

7. The Login form appears.

8. Enter your username and password at this form.
9. To use the application, you must agree to the terms of use. Click this link to view the terms of use: IntelliTrack Terms of Use. Mark the I have read and agree to the terms of use checkbox to acknowledge your acceptance of the terms of use agreement. This activates the Login button.

10. The Main form appears. Notice that the Sync menu is disabled; thus, indicating that the application is running in Batch mode. IntelliTrack Mobile is in RF Mode. Mobile data will be collected and updated in real-time.
